I'd say your chances of getting scholarship from Top 15 are a bit thin, but the other schools, maybe... It depends a lot on your application, how you write, and how much they really want you to come.

I agree with Jon here - scholarships at the top 15 will be tough. Keep in mind - their scholarship dollars are limited. They can utilize them for a few reasons, the primary being to attract top talent. This can be someone who is the best among a common applicant type (e.g. the best I-Banker ever!) or someone who is incredibly unique. If you're working in the chemicals industry where you get to design solutions worthy of patent applications, then you'll need to highlight that. That's going to be your card to play. However, just know, competition for international students is incredibly stiff and, therefore, scholarships, especially at the top schools, are difficult to come by. Your chances go up as you go down the list but exponentially. Therefore your chances at #20 aren't that much higher than #15, but at #30 they go up.

As for amounts - this can cover full tuition + stipend to $2,000 a year. It varies so widely that it's impossible to tell.
