Mechanical Engineering Graduate - 10+ yrs work ex.

Nature of works:

Project marketing comprising of proposal engineering, Project estimation, Pricing of project, preperation of techno-commercial offer, pre-bid & post bid discussion with customer, etc for Coal based power plant.

Engineering of coal based Power Plant systems.

Company : ALSTOM, Larsen & Toubro (India)

Extracurricular: average.

GMAT : planning on January, 2014

Please evaluate my profile & what should be the GMAT score to admit in INSEAD & OTHER TOP Bschools

You have a decent profile. You can definitely be a candidate for INSEAD or other b school MBA programs - A score about 700, might not make the cut. So, focus on getting a high GMAT.

You may refer to - for the process of application for INSEAD business school.

I would also suggest you to apply few more b schools University of California, NYU Stern, Michigan Ross and few other b schools as well. You may also gauge your chances of getting admitted in top business school by trying this tool

If you happen to be based in Bangalore, you can attend a MBA workshop by the alumnus of ISB along with alumnus of various top global B-Schools during the dates mentioned in this link

From which undergraduate Indian school did you graduate? What was your percentile score, class degree, rank, etc.? What are your goals?

Right now there is insufficient information to guide you beyond get the highest GMAT score possible.
