Hi , 
I am an Indian female aged 24 years, with 3 years of WE as a developer in a leading Indian IT firm. 
I am planning to do full time 2 year MBA.

GMAT score 640(Q47, V31)
GPA : 8.1/10
10th : 96% state board 
12th : 91% state board.

Target schools : 
Kelley School of Business , 
Brigham Young University ,
Krannert School Of Management ,
NUS Singapore 
University of Wisconsin , Madison

Profile highlights

1. Chairperson of Computer Society of India Student Chapter at college for two consecutive years. 
2. Founder of INCEPTRA , an inter-collegiate technical fest in our state.
3. Regular tutor at an orphanage for the past one year.
4. Volunteer at a rehabilitation center for HIV-infected kids . 
5. Active volunteer at the social welfare club at my workplace.
6. Several prizes won for dance,drama and violin during school and college . 
7. Second highest scorer in 10th exams . 
8. One among the top 10 undergraduate rank holders of the university

Please let me know my chances for getting into these target schools with the above profile?

Thanks for sharing your profile. Numerically you are competitive at these schools. However as someone with a very typical Indian background you will have to work to differentiate yourself amongst a very crowded pool. I do think you are targeting the right schools which should give you a good shot at these schools. But focus on sharing personal anecdotes and link personal interests to professional passions and this will heighten your chances.

I see you have several choices of schools around the world, but consider where you want to work post MBA and strongly consider schools in the same or similar geographic region.

There's certainly a chance at the schools you list, but it would help if you could get the GMAT score up a bit. Being in the 80% range is good, but being above the average gives schools an extra incentive to bring you in, because you help boost their scores. It also helps to have H1B visa status, but it does not appear that's the case. Companies like to see H1B because it shows other companies have stepped forward on your behalf already.
