Hello Shibojyoti,
I believe that you’ll have a challenging time in part because of the combination of your age, your goals, your prior MBA, and your over-represented status (
Indian-in-IT). Obtaining a substantial scholarship will be even more difficult.
First, you will need to explain why you are pursuing a 2nd MBA – adcoms will listen to your case, but the burden is on you to make it; adcoms generally are less than friendly toward 2nd-MBA applicants. In addition, your age, while still within upper normal range for some US and many European programs, is old for much
finance recruiting.
Your international experience is a plus, but many in your industry/demographic group have such experience, so it doesn’t distinguish you among your group.
That said, in US, Kellogg would be a stretch school to consider, and perhaps Cornell a reality or close-to-reality school. But I do see some obstacles to overcome in your candidacy.
