Hello! Thanks for sharing your profile.
Great job on the GMAT score! As you know that is just one aspect of your application though. I think your grades seem good too. Have you taken any business courses? Perhaps that would be a way to supplement your profile and prepare for school, since you studied a very technical field in college.
Your activities / extracurriculars seem good too - keep in mind though that schools put much more emphasis on recent activities vs. ones from university. Also, if there are any opportunities for you to take on leadership roles with those organizations, that would be ideal.
My only concerns with your profile are that you're applying from a very competitive demographic and that you're seeking to make a very difficult career transition to strategy consulting. Sales is not the most common pre-MBA field (which is fine) but you'll need to really think through what skills you have now that will be transferable to consulting and what specific skills you intend to develop during the MBA. Have a look at this free consulting career primer to understand what the role requires (
https://info.mbacareercoaches.com/consul ... eer-primer). Schools are definitely open to career changers but they want to see that you're taking steps now to move in that direction. Again, taking some additional pre-MBA courses might help here to demonstrate your business mindset. Alternatively, you could consider an immediate post-MBA career goal that's more related to your current experience, like business development, with the eventual goal of moving into strategy consulting. Just something to think about as you decide what to write in your essays.
As for school choices, I like that you have a range. MIT will definitely be a stretch but if it's your dream school then it's worth a shot. Apply early there. Tuck may be a stretch too. Culture / community is very important at Tuck so try to engage with the school to understand their culture. If you're not able to visit your target schools, then see if you can find any current students or alums in your network who'd be willing to talk to you. Also, if you're looking at Duke and Emory, perhaps consider UNC Kenan Flagler or maybe Vanderbilt? I think there are some similarities in terms of size and location.
Good luck with the process and keep us posted if we can answer any more questions!
