Hi,
Could you please help me evaluate my profile. I took the GMAT (first attempt) 2 days back and scored a 700 (Q50, V34). As evident, my verbal score affected my overall score. This was bit of a surprise for me, as I was constantly scoring in the 36-38 range in all
MGMAT mocks and GMAC tests. 34 is one of the lowest I have ever got in Verbal. I am contemplating whether to re-take the test or focus on applications with the current score.

1. Indian Male - 29 years, with 6 years of work experience
2. Work Experience : I have been working with a
Private Equity Fund since last 3 years. The firm is a US based fund with focus on investments in Asia. As a part of my job, I have worked on investment opportunities in diverse sectors. Based on my performance, I have been promoted twice in the last two years. Prior to this job, I was working in the Equity Research Domain for 3 years.
3. Gmat : 700 (Q50 , V34) , IR - 8 , AWA - awaiting result.
4. College info:
- Graduation in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University (top ranked commerce college in India). Score overall 73% in graduation
- Post graduation (MBA full time) from International Management Institute, New Delhi. Ranked among the top 10 student
