Hey there,
Thanks for the post! So you're in a pretty good spot, to be honest. Your academics are solid - not great, but solid. Your undergrad GPA is below the median BUT we're not worried at all. Your work experience is better than you think it is. While it might not be as sexy or differentiated as you think it is, it is still a brand name firm and you're working with large clients, leading teams, and delivering results. In terms of recs - that's something you'll need to manage. We can't say how they'll turn out now but they're very important! Involvement wise - you're involved in meaningful initiatives in meaningful ways - that's all that matters. AND you're from Zimbabwe which makes you underrepresented. Perfect! So from a GMAT perspective - yes, a 700+ is great, but you'll get cut a little bit of slack given who you are and where you're coming from.
Your story - both ST and LT is a bit weak. LT, stay away from entrepreneurship generally speaking. ST maybe avoid Real Estate. Finance / banking is perfectly fine. If you can nail that GMAT, you'd be set up for a Top 20 run with ease. In terms of schools - what's important to you? Not only have you listed the T20, you've also listed a set of schools that are vastly different from one another?
