Hi,
I am an Indian 23 yo male studying in Canada for the last 1 year. I intend to apply to HBS 2+2 and Stanford GSB deferred MBA.
Education :
1. Bachelors in Civil Engineering from one of the top 5 NITs , GPA ; 9.38/10
2. Indian Academy of Sciences fellow, interned at IIT Delhi and IIT Mumbai assisting professors on their research projects.
3. Received $50,000 scholarship to study at one of the best civil Engineering schools in Canada (Top 5)
4. Master's GPA (until now) : 3.75/4 , one more course to go, aiming to take it up to 3.8
5. Received yet another scholarship ($5000) from the airport authority of the province last week
6. Plan to write GMAT in Nov
Extra curriculars:
1. Volunteer with the Citywide LGBTQ support group, as a member of the board of directors. (I plan to come out in my application)
2. Census taker for the city.
3. Led a team of 5 for a cookie launch cum distribution event for 2 days
Target Schools :
1. Harvard 2+2
2. Stanford GSB deferred MBA
I plan to apply in the third round for both of these schools.
Do you think it would be too ambitious ? What would be an ideal GMAT score ?
