GMAT 740 (Q50 V40 IR 5 AWA-awaited) Oct’15
Grad- Engineer B.Tech. at one of the top engineering univ -2010
Grades- 6.6/10 and 2 on scale of 4(as per GMAC calculation)
Extra curricular- sports and voluntary role with one not-for-profit org throughout college
WorkEx- 5.5+ yrs (by Fall16)
2yrs- non-managerial, mid-level team-lead role at one of the biggest global insurer - data analytics and consulting in catastrophe risk modelling & insurance industry
2yrs-non-managerial, mid-level role at similar company
8 months- Start-up-business development and operational role at one novel material manufacturing start-up
1 yr- Manufacturing-Graduate Trainee- at one of India’s largest steel maker

Thanks for sharing your background. Before we get into school selection, can you please clarify your post MBA goal? What do you want to do with research/academics? Are you trying to become a professor? If so, a PhD is a better route than an MBA.
