Hi Prakhar,
Thanks for your note. Unfortunately, we only focus on the top North American and European schools, so I don’t know a lot about ISB.
Looking at your background, one challenge is going to be in how you explain and simplify this for the adcom. There’s a ton of super specific industry jargon in here, and you need to remember that the adcom is likely to have limited exposure to your industry. It seems like you’ve worked on a lot of different projects, and you should ensure that you’re able to quantify them. Ie. what was the impact of your SQL model?
The lack of extracurriculars could be a flag for American schools. I don’t know how ISB would look on that.
Regarding your question about the GMAT, I’d go back and look at the range of GMAT scores for ISB for a few years. That will give you an idea of what you need to be at, and if there’s a trend where the GMAT scores are heading for next year.
Hope this helps!
Beside ISB, I am also looking for McCombs Business School.
My concern is lack of extracurricular, How can I cover this ?
Does MOOC's help ?
My current plan is to get some courses in Operations domain from coursera, to build a stronger profile for MBA in operations, will that help Adcom peoples to see how interested I am to get into Operations.
Or anything else I can do, I have 3 - 4 months time.
