Hi All,

could I also kindly ask for a profile review as I am slightly concerned about my subpar BSc GPA.

GMAT: 750 (Q49 V44) first attempt.

Work experience: 5 years in FMCG, most recently as Managing Director of a subsidiary (15 employees) in the UK, part of a larger international group of companies (about 3000 employees with 300 mio £ annual turnover).

BSc with a 2.8 GPA in the Netherlands and Norway
MSc with a 3.8 GPA in the Netherlands

Fluent in 3 Languages (German, English, Dutch) and Basic Norwegian

One year of volunteering in a kindergarden for children with disability.
Active member of Rotary International.

Lived, worked and studied in 4 countries.

Looking to apply at the top UK Schools (LBS, Judge, Said) - would consider US schools as well but I have no idea which ones would be realistic with my profile.

Planning to work for tier 1 consulting before moving back into the industry.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi All,
Hi Linden84, I will say with a 750 GMAT, there is not a program in the US that is out of range... so that's the good news! The bad news.. or really more- the rest of the story is that the 750 will be enhanced with the rest of your strong application. So for consulting, I'd look at schools like Kellogg, UVA Darden, Kenan-Flagler. The 2.8 gpa not so great but the grad degree helps and so does your experience in Netherlands. I would also look at some schools like possibly Ross and Stern as your strong GMAT and Netherlands background will most likely carry more weight than GPA or multiple degree issues. I think you could really benefit- even with just a few hours- from some coaching to help you refine your school list and really present yourself in the best light as I think you could be very competitive at several places.
