Hi there! Thanks for reaching out- first of all I think that on the adcom side schools seem to be placing more weight on the GMAT so the good GMAT score gives you options with the schools on your list. I can see you presenting well at Georgetown and UNC Kenan-Flagler, possibly Fuqua. One thing you can do to mitigate the gpa is to use the optional essay to state how many hours a week the football was as I am sure that had an impact on your grades overall. Taking the classes in quant area is also a great idea. Your work experience is solid and if you have a strong recommender I think you have lots of keys to the puzzle in place even with the lower GPA. An admissions consulting firm like ours can also help make sure your essays and application overall present you in the best light and if you have good presentation and professional presence- which it sounds like you do- that can all help. But even in one of the more competitive pools- I still see much to be hopeful for you in your profile and chances at the schools you mention.
