Need some clarification: how much is your total work experience? how long was the articleship (mention that separately). What is the order of your work experience (most recent first)?
I like your family business experience, sounds more convincing to build your career goals around that. PE is one of the most selective industries that recruits from campus and typically requires banking/consulting experience. May not be a viable option for you.
