A few quick thoughts for you
eashan12:
- Your non-Indian undergrad will help you instantly stand out from the larger Indian pool. It would be good to understand though, as to how distinctive your GPA is - academics matter a LOT for such programs.
- The GMAT is ok but not great. One can easily add 20-30 points to a given school's average to get a sense of the Indian GMAT average. The expectation on objective parameters tends to play up for deferred MBA grads. If there is time (for some of these), a retake might be useful to consider.
- For reasons mentioned here, we don't speculate on school selection chances. While your big bank internships are good, those may not take you the distance at the really top league programs as they tend to be super selective. However, a mix of MiM and some deferred programs should balance your prospects well.
- Do make sure though that you've thought about the MBA vs Masters in Management dilemma well.
Hope this helps some.
Cheers,
