Hello all,
I am hoping to attend NYU Sterns Langone (part time) program in the Fall 2007. My credentials are as follows:
* 24 year old caucasian male
* 690 GMAT Score
* BS in Computer Science, 3.4 GPA from a very challenging engineering school with a great local reputation
* 3 years full time experience in IT (Business Analysis) for a top-tier investment bank ascending quickly through roles of increasing responsibility.
* 2.5 years internship doing systems engineering at a well known consumer electronics manufacturer.
I believe my academic history and work experience qualify me, but I have a few concerns.
* Skewed GMAT grade. My verbal was far superior to my quantitative (95 percentile vs 67 percentile). Odd considering my engineering background.
* Lack of extracurricular leadership activities. I worked 20+ hours per week during college so I had little time to pursue such activities.
What are my chances?
Thanks!
Joe
