Hello guys,
So I have made a post about 2 weeks ago on my GMAT score (below my expectations), and everyone who responded told me to retake it. But given the short amount of time I have rn, I am not sure whether it is that useful to retake it. So, I come to you to evaluate my profile.
In case my profile is not enough, I would consider more consistently retaking the GMAT, even if it means the third masters applications round (in France).
So, I aim at masters at LSE in finance/finance & economics, MSc at Dauphine in Financial economics, and ESSEC MiM.
My profile :
French student
ESCP Bachelor (French top tier business school) : economics and management
GPA : 3,8/4 (top 10% student).
GMAT : 680 (= 625 GMAT Focus, but with a 50% in Quant part, 94% in Verbal and 80+% in Data Insights)
However, I achieved in all my school quantitative classes (maths, advanced maths, statistics, micro, macro...) a min of 3,8 (3,9/4,0 for purely mathematical classes) and a related percentile of 90/95+.
One internship at Carrefour in Concurencial analysis (4 months)
One apprenticeship in a management consulting firm (1 year, currently enrolled in)
One entrepreneurship (online platform)
Language : Fluent in french, spanish and english (less fluent there).
Basically, the 2 main flaws are the absence of finance/econ related internships, and the low GMAT score (especially quant part).
I have heard that LSE did not consider GMAT as the main part of the applications, so should I give it a try?
Thanks everyone!
