Indian male nearing 32 now.By the time I start for 2008, i would be 33 yrs .
GMAT -Still have not given GMAT. Planning to give in two months time.
Education - Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from one of the top 15 engineering colleges in India 1997.
Work Experience - Total 10 years - 2 yrs Mechanical, 8 yrs IT, 5 yrs in leadership role.
2 yrs in Mechanical in leading Indian automotive company.
Shifted to IT domain after 2 yrs in mechanical in India.
Within two years in IT ,moved to leadership position after good recommendation from collegues and seniors.
Have been successful in leading and implementing large scale IT projects in India and Singapore.
Currently working in IT in singapore for last 5 years in leadership roles.
Started a partnership IT firm in Singapore two years back and have grown the firm from 2 to 20 people.
Now my firm is doing IT projects for leading Singapore companies.
Currently I am managing a team of over 20+ people and almost 5 projects.
Community service- none

Would i be able to make to top 5 in US . What should be the score I should be aiming for ?
Will age be a deterrent ?
Your profile starts to get interesting and appealing when you get to the 'started IT partnership in Singapore' etc. Since then, your profile looks strong, but I don't think strong enough for top 5 in U.S. even if you did get a high GMAT. One reason is age--you are already at the age where you are drifting out of the middle/typical age range of B-schools. Moreover, having zero community really hurts you at the top U.S. schools. One option to increase your odds is to apply for part-time programs but even here I think you will need to look outside the top 10 schools. You didn't mention goals so I can't recommend specific schools. You may want to look at
