Hi Experts,
I have recently taken GMAT and scored a 620 .I know that my score is a bit on the lower side.But since it was my second attempt, I really dont want to go for any more attempts.Please suggest me which all colleges (U.S. or Asian reason) should I apply for.A few of them in my list are:
Kelley
Ohio State Fisher college of business
MCCOMBs Austin
NUS
NANYAN business school
Irvine (Merage) (CA)
my profile:
Age- 27years(male)
Nationality- Indian
10th - 80%
12th - 80%
B.Tech - 3.6 GPA (Com.Sc.)
W.E. - 60 months (Banking , Telecom and ERP domains)
have won paper presentation at IIT Guwahati,
Own a music band ( am the lead singer
)
Been to Indian Idol till Galas
Working as a team lead for 2 years.
Have worked at client location most of the time.
Have also worked for an NGO and have certificates.
participated in many sport tournaments and won state level prizes.
Was the CR of my class in 12th standard.
I know my low GMAT score is something that will push me back,but having said that I want to go for MBA in 2013 program at any reputed B-school.
Waiting for your invaluable feedback on the same.

Your 620 GMAT is a pretty significant hindrance actually. While you'll still be in the running at NUS, that score is significantly below the average at all of the other programs you mentioned. I don't know anything about your goals, but just in terms of GMAT averages I believe you stand a chance at CUHK, University of Pittsburgh, Temple, Northeastern and the like.
