So, just to clarify, do you think me leaving my job in general is a negative thing to do? Or were you considering me applying while unemployed? I do plan on getting a job and hopefully I'll get lucky and get a job with a reputable company. My fear is that even if I were to find a decent job at a nice company, I'd practically be applying for MBA programs just a couple months afterwards. It's a pretty tight spot to be in since I am getting married this summer and my fiance has already found a teaching job back home.
I agree with applying to a couple "safe" schools. The programs I like the most so far are Tuck, Kellogg and Duke. I will be adding other "safer" schools later but I really think that if I can get my GMAT up to scratch and write some good essays (big assumptions I know), my unique background will give me an advantage. Who knows?
When it comes to the actual essays, should I use the time/space to address my move home or what do you think?
