Hi, would much appreciate it if someone could help evaluate my profile:
F/26/Asian American
GMAT: 690 (41V/42Q/5.5AWA)
3.6 GPA in economics; Boston University
Experience:
1 yr experience in equity research
3.5 yrs experience in hedge fund accounting with top-tier administrator
Undergrad: Internships in business in London and Sydney (3 months each)
Extra-Curriculars:
Adult Literacy Volunteer Tutor, have also volunteered abroad (saving sea turtles, community efforts, etc)
Undergrad- volunteer piano teacher
Career goals:
Eventually move into a COO/CFO position at a HF. Looking for a solid education in gen mgmt (most likely would specialize in finance/accounting).
Already Applied:
Tuck EA (decisions not yet released)
Stern R1 (interviewing in Jan)
Dilemma:
I want to apply to at least 2 more schools with early Jan deadlines. I’ve pretty much decided on R2 for Ross and Anderson. My third choice would be Columbia RD or Johnson R3. How realistic are my chances for these two schools in the later rounds? If I did decide to apply, which school would you say historically admits more students in its Jan round? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
