Hey, 
Please evaluate my profile and tell me if my selection of schools is not ambitious

28yrs/Female/Periodontist(dentist)

Academic Qualification- 
BDS- Top government dental college, India
GPA-3.5
MDS- Top semi-government Dental college
GPA- 3.4- Gold medalist

Extracurricular- 
-Professional swimmer
 
Experience-
3 yrs -Successful own dental setup
 -faculty member in Dental Institue
 - Editorial board of National Journal

Achievement
-refurbishing of the journal from a nothing to an indexed financially successful one.

reason for MBA-
long term- Start my own cosmetic establishment
short term- gain experience in similar set-ups, interact with like-minded people

Hello carrerswitch,

You have a very interesting profile. I am going to give you the strong points:

Sport: professional swimmer, this looks good on your application, and it will help you!
Work experience: Successful own dental setup: that is a good point, you ll have to put the stress on it 
Finally, I think you do have the perfect age for an MBA.
Keep in mind that Business schools like diversity, so you profile might fit.
However, your work experience is somewhat unusual, but I don't think it is a problem. You would have to make it clear, and to articulate elegantly your work experience with your entrepreneurial objectives.
Try, somewhat, to find leadership oriented features on your application, this is important.

Finally, I think your GMAT score is correct, but might be a handicap for BS such as Kellog. The decision wether to retake it or not belongs to you.

Thankyou for the evaluation, it is of immense help. 
I sadly though have no plans of retaking GMAT, and if not Kellog than which US schools would find my profile interesting enough? 
Also does applying in Second round for US schools dims my chance of getting an admit??

(do not hesitate to kudo me for EACH valuable post though: on the left box "+1 Kudos" :p well, don't get me wrong: do apply for Kellog, the GMAT is just one of several aspects of your application, if you do good essays and do well on interviews, who knows

You have a good range of US school that would be "more accessible". My advice would be for you to apply in every single BS that you might find as a good fit, but try to make sure the applications are strong: better to make 3 or 4 excellent applications thant 12 average ones

If you're not going to retake the GMAT, you're basically limiting yourself to very regional US schools - like Pepperdine, University of Florida, and other local schools outside the top 30.

Even with schools like NTU, IE and HKUST, I'm not sure if your GMAT will cut it either, or you'd be on the margins. ISB has GMAT ranges that are more comparable with the top schools from what I know (i.e. 700+ if you want to be competitive).
