I am probably way out of line by commenting on this thread as I am not even an MBA applicant but because I seem to understand that you, 'stopper', probably work in an asset management department or a similar set-up, where your monte-carlo risk simulation model would obviously be of great importance; you can articulate this model-building with more reference to the team leading effort as well as how you relay the risk-information (output) to the concerned managers, thus clearly showing (off) :) your leadership as well as interpersonal skills. Throw in the fact that you chair the weekly/monthly industry research meeting and how you tackle issues there and you can potentially tie up the loose end bsd and alex have mentioned... I think...

disclaimer to my suggestion: I have no experience whatsoever in applying to an MBA program!!
