I'm an Indian candidate looking to apply for B-schools in Canada primarily but I'm open to France, Switzerland & Singapore too; while submitting this I am fully aware that my profile is weak at the moment, therefore I'm looking forward to all/any suggestions you have so that I can improve my overall profile. Further details below:
Target schools: Rotman (Canada), Ivey (Canada), Smith (Canada), McGill (Canada), INSEAD (France/Singapore), HEC (France) & Lausanne (Switzerland)
B.Sc. Economics: CGPA - 2.2/4
PGDM (Executive) w/ Business Analytics: CGPA - 3.1/4
GMAT Score: 590 (online) - Q40 (36%), V31 (61%) & IR3 (19%)
Age: 27
Work Experience: 5 years this July at HCL Technologies working in Marketing and specifically managing our Sports Marketing portfolio where I'm responsible for the organization's partnerships with Manchester United & Cricket Australia, as well as finding new opportunities and business - these aren't standard sponsorships as they involve some amount of digital & IT work being done by us for them, whether it's Digital Transformation or general IT services like Cloud, Analytics, AI, etc.
EC:
- Played the piano and have been certified by Trinity College of London up till Grade 4
- Completed free MOOCs in Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society (University of Pennsylvania)

Thanks for sharing! Your undergrad GPA is quite low so you will want to use the optional essay section to explain this. Keep this essay brief and to the point – do not offer long-winded excuses or any more information than is needed.
Personal MBA Coach has worked with applicants with low GPAs who have gotten into top schools if they ace the GMAT and have impressive experience. That said, the best thing to do here is work on getting your GMAT score up. May I ask how many times you have taken it thus far? For some of the schools you are targeting you will want to get into the low to mid 700s range.

Target schools: Rotman (Canada), Ivey (Canada) - Chose Canada due to PR, though suggestions are welcome
B.Tech ( Electrical Eng.) : CGPA - 8.3/10
GMAT Score: 700-720 (Expected)
Age: 27
Work Experience: 3 years as a Junior Engineer at Tata Steel Limited, where I’m responsible for daily and breakdown maintenance of a 3MTP Steel Plant. Closely worked in a multidisciplinary environment with vendors such as Siemens, L&T, ABB SMS SIEMAG etc for solving problems related to production along with follow-up. Also responsible for planning and execution of monthly shutdowns and yearly major shutdowns. I’ve also lead a small team of 7 in SGA Activity related to Kaizen for over a year; completing projects that have improved productivity and downtime of the production plant.

- Several Marathon Running Certificates for Social Welfare
- Total of 3 Research Paper Published (2 IEEE, 1 Springer)
- 1 Month Internship with TeamEverestNGO for fundraising of COVID-19
