So initially I was trying to go for a MSF in Hofstra, but before I applied I spoke with the head of graduate admissions at Hofstra. I told him what I wanted to do, but he suggested that I try for the FT MBA before applying to MSF. Basically what he told me was that my GRE scores could be converted into GMAT standards and I could apply this way. So anyhow now I'm even more anxious than ever and since the application submitted I can't get it out of my mind!
Here's my profile:
AGE: 25
GPA: 3.0 (Major in Health Science: with many BIO, Physics, Chem and Quantitative Classes) at a Top State School know for its sciences
Major GPA: 3.5
GRE: Q: 710 V: 510 Esaay: 4.5
GMAT Conversion score: 600
Work Experience: 3 Years
All of which in the Healthcare Sector, latest in IT.
I am also an American Citizen. (I don't know if that makes a difference.)
How do my chances look? I see that the FT Average GMAT score is 611, but the Median is 600. Granted, I don't have the best score, but I'm wondering if I could be competitive in the market place. Thanks!
