Here is my info. I want to apply to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg & McCombs. What do you think are my chances?
GMAT: 760 (42V 51Q 4.5AWA)
Undergrad: 3.95 in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University
Grad School: 4.00 in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University
Experience: 6 years as a structural engineer in Houston. First 5 years with small firm, slowly working my way up. Currently with huge international firm in Energy sector, slowly working my way up. Nothing blockbuster.
Extracurricular: Started a non-profit organization that has raised $30,000 for scholarships. Was elected President of technical society. On the committee that writes/grades exams for engineering licensure.
Other: First generation of my family to go to college. Volunteer at Houston Rodeo.
Cons: Didn't do anything appreciable in college extracurriculars.
I want to study finance and/or management.

HBS, Wharton and Kellogg are going to be stretches. So long as you're comfortable with that, go for it. Otherwise, if you want a better shot of getting in somewhere (other than McCombs), you may want to knock out 1-2 from the list, and add 1-3 sweet spots (Duke, Darden, Ross, Haas, UCLA, Cornell, Yale, NYU).
