Hard to say. It comes down to how well you execute your applications, how well you interview, and of course a bit of luck as well.
As for what to emphasize in your applications, there isn't some cookie cutter formula or recipe that I can tell you in a short post. It's something you're going to have to figure out throughout the course of the application process; it's not something you just decide upfront, but more of a discovery process as you write multiple drafts and through trial-and-error you'll be able to figure out what works best for YOU (as opposed to trying to write towards some "standard").
Like any application, the key is being able to convey that you're a mature and accomplished person who can work well with people from all kinds of backgrounds.
