Profile Evaluation for Executive MBA

Question

Hi,

I am new to the community and would like to get my profile evaluated.

I am targeting Wharton, Booth, Columbia and Kellogg for executive MBA in the next 2 years.

Following are my details:
 UG in CS - 72.8% from an Avg. school in India
MS in CS with Finance - 3.65/4.0 from NYU Courant and NYU Stern
GMAT - 720
Work Experience - 9 years by that time , Sr Consultant for Machine Learning in Big 4
Additional Information - Board member , Masters' society NYU, 2 years+ Volunteer experience.
Certificates - 30+ certificates in technology, project management
2 Research papers in Machine Learning
2 National level Science Olympiad Medals in school
2 Awards at workplace.

I would love to know your take on it.

Hawk4 Thank you for your profile post. From what I see here, you have a very good profile for most EMBA programs. You would be a little on the younger side in terms of experience for Booth and Kellogg, but certainly within the range to apply. I think your machine learning research papers will help, and I am personally interested in that as I have helped folks write about this a lot recently. At this point you want to focus on building the extra-curricular story and getting as much direct leadership at work as you can. Reach out if you want to discuss your profile. Are you planning to stay with your firm upon graduation, or is the catalyst for an EMBA to switch firms or even your career? Many EMBA programs are intended to help their students rise in the ranks of their current firms. Schools like  CBS have over half of their class  under employer sponsorship while schools like Booth will  encourage you to pursue a letter of support/sponsorship  from your employer.
