Akshay,
Your experience with MoEA is very differentiated and should be valued by ISB. I am just wondering why you wish to do an MBA now? Maybe delay it by another year and apply with atleast 2.5 years as I believe 1.5 years is really not enough to build substantial experience in the ministry, even from the perspective of learning the nuts and bolts of the job.
Hi Namita,
Thank you for your prompt response.
Here are the clarifications to your queries :
(i) Why MBA?
The current MoEA job lacks growth and has slow promotions; moreover, the style of functioning is very bureaucratic. I don't feel that I am doing something worthwhile in this job at this point in time. Money is a very important factor in my decision to do an MBA.
(ii) Why Now?
I don't see how stretching my present job any longer will add anything to my experience, as the job is highly monotonous and there is hardly anything new that one gets to do. The decision to do it now is also driven by some personal life circumstances.
Would be grateful if you can guide me with my current application.
Thanks !
