Hello,
Seeking advice on my profile and if I may have a shot at USC and/or UCLA MBA.
Profile24 year old Male
U.S citizen
Residing in San Francisco
Other languages - Arabic
Lived internationally for over 15 years.
EducationVirginia Tech
B.S. Industrial and Systems Engineering (Top 10 program)
Class of 2013
GPA: 3.2
Professional Experience Amazon - Worked at Amazon as an Area Manager for about 1.5 years. Managed over 50+ associates and helped launch the largest and most technologically advanced fulfillment center in the world. Left end of Oct. 2014 to work on Google's Same-day delivery project.
Google Express - Started of in the product operations team scoping out new features to be launched in the operation. Later moved up to building a quality department to improve customer success and reduce defects. Left this position about a month ago.
ExamsTook the GRE instead of the GMAT since I am also applying to USC's Industrial Engineering program, hoping to get a MBA/ISE dual degree. Very disappointed with my GRE score since I got a 144 (V) and 160 (Q). For some reason, the verbal was way below my practice tests on Manhattan and
Magoosh as I was always averaging at least 154. Retaking the GRE in two weeks.
Please let me know if I have a chance at either school, considering my low GRE score
Thanks!
