Hello vasuR

You have good ECs during college and international work experience, you should be a good fit for most of the top-tier B schools globally. Your overall admission score is a function of your GMAT score, quality of work experience, depth of essays and SOP, impact of recommendations, and your performance in the interview stage.

The top MBA programs will look at your achievements, and leadership skills, increasing your chances to target good schools and make up for the GMAT score as well. I would suggest you look at an MBA holistically and add few years of valuable work experience. And do get in touch with alumni from your target B-schools for guidance.

If you need any help in the journey to an MBA or need guidance on building your profile, do let us know. Our admissions experts will get in touch.

Hi vasuR,

You have a solid academic background with a 9.1 GPA from a reputable institution, impressive leadership roles in extracurriculars, and community involvement. However, the competition for deferred MBA programs at schools like HBS, Kellogg, Haas, and Darden is extremely high, and even strong profiles can face rejections.

Reapply to Deferred Programs: If you believe you can significantly strengthen your application, consider reapplying to your target schools in the next admissions cycle.
Explore Other Top Programs: Broaden your search to include other highly ranked MBA programs that align with your career goals.
Gain Additional Experience: While your current experience is valuable, consider gaining more depth or breadth in your role to further enhance your profile.
Consult with Admissions Consultants: Seek expert guidance to tailor your application and optimize your chances of admission.
Remember: The MBA admissions process is competitive, and rejection is not uncommon. Focus on areas where you can improve your application and persist in your pursuit of your goals.

Would you like to schedule a free consultation with one of our MBA experts to delve deeper into your profile and develop a tailored application strategy? We can help you identify the best-fit programs and optimize your chances of admission. Our contact number is +91 7780769732.
