Grad(US):Environmental Engineering 3.6/4
Work exp-4 yrs (Environmental engineer)
Not much leadership experience at work. Took responsibility of couple of complex modeling projects and completed them successfully.
Extracurricular:
India-Undergrad institutes National Service scheme Coordinator: Organized trash collection/planting trees and food/clothing collection for the poor within the campus.
India-Undergrad: Coordinator of puzzle championship: Planned and organized the puzzle championship for the institute technical festival....(Number of participants around 400)
US-Student liaison officer for ASCE East central branch: Helped the newly formed UCF chapter of Engineers without borders with local service activities.
Education chair for ASCE East Central branch: Started education outreach programs for high school children to educate them regarding environmental sustainability and encouraged them to pursue engineering with various activities like Bridge competition.
Leadership development chair: Organized leadership development activities for our ASCE committee by inviting motivational speakers.
GMAT: Not yet(Expecting around 700)
Post MBA goals: To work for World Resources Institute/ Environmental Defense Fund or similar companies..
Please let me know which schools i should aim for....Thank you.

Thanks reaching out to me, I appreciate the opportunity. For I can answer would schools you should target I need to have a little more information about your background. I know that you are an environmental engineer and I respect that as I understand the rigor of the degree -- I used to be a mechanical engineer. However, I'm having trouble connecting what you do now, as an engineer, with your post-MBA goals. The issue I am having is twofold. I'm not quite sure what it is that you do it work right now and I'm not quite sure what you want to do with The Environmental Defense Fund. You could define the role more specifically he would really help now. Currently this is in limbo.
The other thing I need to know, and for that matter that you need to know, is what your actual GMAT score will be. So let's say this is 700. This is not a very compelling score as well. This in conjunction with the rest of your experiences -- at least what I know about them -- is not completely convincing.
However, I know you want an answer and I respect that. So here's my recommendation. Get a copy of the Aspen Institute's "Beyond Grey Pinstripes" report. This should detailthe amount of social and environmental stewardship an MBA program incorporates into their curriculum. This should give you an idea of where the opportunity lies with respect to your longer-term goals. Right now, I would look at Notre Dame, Cornell, George Washington, UNC, Wisconsin and even Ohio State.

Present Job: Environmental Engineer: I work in mainly 2 fields: Water resources and Remediation. I do subsurface modeling and surface water modeling projects for ecological restoration. I also work in remediation...in designing, operation and maintenance of field remediation systems for environmental restoration (Removing underground contamination). Altogether i can summarize my present work experience as "Environmental and ecological restoration".
Future goals: I would like to work at "Climate and energy program" or "People and ecosystems program" at WRI. These initiatives deal with providing decision makers with information and assessment tools that link ecosystem health with attainment of economic and social goals. For this i need skills related to financial risk management and knowledge of markets related to ecosystem services, corporate sustainability...
Please let me know if this is convincing...
