Thank you EssaySnark for my detailed profile evaluation. But, I would like to know what are the main weakness that you see in my profile. I personally feel a lack of extra curricular/community experience. I would somehow try to justify them or do something about them.
Hi asgup -
Community service is overblown; nobody gets into bschool based on community service, and nobody is denied due to lack of it. And it's not something you can "justify" (not quite sure what you meant by that; it's also not something you can "do something about" if you don't currently have it. Any attempts to start a new community service project now will be met with skepticism, it would be pretty obvious that you're doing it in an attempt to pump up your bschool profile. It's pretty transparent.

Beyond that, the GMAT verbal could come up, but there aren't many other comments we can make about "weaknesses." Whether you're going to get in or not is going to come down to your pitch, and there's little that we can offer in that regard without knowing a lot more (seeing the resume, understanding the stories that will go into the essays, etc.).

I believe that schools selection is a pretty personal choice, but I believe my credentials may not be suitable for H,S, and W and may be others too. So I just want to do a reality check. So, it would really be of great help if you could let me know what schools out of the top 15 US b-schools I should target based on my credentials.
The Top 15 schools are a HUGE range. You totally could make it into at least one of those based on your credentials - but the thing is, they don't admit people based on credentials, they admit on the whole package. And there's a massive difference between whichever school you'd put in the #15 position, and whichever one you'd put in the #1 spot. If you're happy with #15 - or #11, or 12, or 13 - then go for those. You're going to have a much easier time getting in - your chances are quite high, if you don't flub the essays - and the whole thing will be much less stressful. If you are determined to try for #1, 2, and 3, then we - NOBODY - can say how easy that will be based on info collected in a forum like this. It's the whole enchilada. That's why the schools won't answer these questions at info sessions either, they need to see an entire application in order to say one way or another about a person.

Sorry to punt on the question but we're not so keen to be doing these profile reviews in the first place since we just don't think they're fair to you guys - we did a whole rant on this awhile back on the EssaySnark blahg (yet here we are doing these profile reviews... sigh).

The schools are going to be evaluating the entirety of your application and so us saying you're in good shape or not based on this limited view of who you are... we just don't know how much it serves you. But we know that you guys are all hungry for information and that's why we're here.
