Hi,
I am targeting, Master course in Finance offered by HEC, Edinburg Univ., LBS per my initial research keeping in perspective nearly 10 years experience working with Banks.
Early days into the quest to seek admission into a Masters in Finance Course. I am apprehensive if it is too late for me now to try for a Top business school.
Please share your kind inputs in respect my my profile, also suggesting name of B-schools which I should aim for.
Age - 35
Experience - 10+ Years
Organisations - Barclays, HSBC, Computer Sciences Corporation
International experience - Germany, UK, Singapore. Total of 14 Months.
Awards - - Exemplary Performer for 2 consecutive years at Barclays, 3 quarterly awards at HSBC.
Roles Managed - Change Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Managed teams, Lead organisation wide Finance Change Projects
Certifications - CIMA -UK, Green Belt Certified, Lead multiple organisation wide finance change projects
Highest Qualification - MBA Part Time from Top 10 Business School
GMAT - Planned in August
Country - India
Current Compensation - Nearly $30,000 , converted from INR
Objective to pursue a course is to shift from tactical roles to strategic roles in the Organisation. Also, looking for an international placement with a Top consulting.

Highlighting your strong leadership experiences across functions and cultures will help mitigate this as you will show the potential to contribute this to the experience of your peers. You will also need to have clearly defined goals, demonstrating how the MBA fits into accomplishing realistic career goals.
Scoring well on the GMAT would help boost your chances at the top programs you are considering.
