Thanks for the response. I am a first generation college graduate and was an international student. Both my paternal grandparents expired in consecutive semesters. However, I see no excuses for my poor performance as the above might not be extenuating circumstances.
I am currently taking alternative classes in business, finance and accounting via UCLA Ext. I will have about 6 400- level classes in all before applying. Do you think that would be sufficient? Or should I take a few more? I have received an A in two so far with four remaining.

The recent A's will definitely help as will your 720 GMAT. The fact that you are a first-generation college student and from UAE may mitigate a little too.
