I just took my 2nd GMAT and wanted yo know what you thought of my prospects.
Sex: Male
Age: 26 (27 Fall 08)
Nationality: Puertorican
Undergrad Degree/GPA: Double Major - (Finance/CIS), Minor - Philosophy, 3.5 GPA from mid tier northeast school.
GMAT: 700 (2nd attempt). Awaiting AWA score.
Work Experience: 4 years at litigation/strategment consulting company. Manage the reporting/analysis section of a long-term client engagement. Most recently managed all aspects of 4 client conversions from legacy systems to our propriety network.
Extra: Minority scholarship at undergrad, minority internship (Inroads), President of fraternity, Student council two years. Currently volunteer a local soup kitchen on a regular basis. Manage office intramurals. Point of contact for an ovarian cancer charity.
Ambitions: Move more into a strategy based consulting role.
Targets: UCLA, NYU, USC, Texas, and Georgetown.
UCLA and NYU are my two main wishes, but I would be happy with any of the above. How important is it that I'm puertorican and what influence will that have on my application?
