aayuva hope this finds you well! Congratulations on the stellar GMAT score.

While you have a high GMAT score, your academic trajectory is not evident (Since M7s are ultra-competitive your undergrad pedigree may have an influence). As an IRS employee, you would have several examples of showcasing your leadership talents and excellent achievements in the public sector. You may have interesting insights from working on the execution of projects that concern specific TGs in the pyramid of the Indian economy. What problems did you identify and tried to solve? You may demonstrate compassionate leadership through stories and iron will to mobilize needy sectors post-MBA leveraging your prior experience in public sector finance and your increased business acumen after an M7 MBA. Be conscientious about your goals. Your goals need be refined further in order to deliberate on why you want to leave such a prominent position and transition to the private sector in consulting. What is your overarching goal? What do you wish to achieve in the long term?

Your ECs are average at best but may be your work experience in the public sector may unleash more involvement with the community initiatives.

Best wishes
