Hi,
I am a Digital Media Specialist from India. I'm targeting R2 deadlines. My choice of univ- Rotman, John Molson, Ted Roger & Desautels.
Professional background
I have 4 years of work experience in the broadcast & digital media. I have produced 150 episodes of a popular TV show, several documentaries and special shows for an international TV channel. I then worked with a digital sports media outlet where I designed and executed the entire content strategy around the IPL 2019 (about 200 videos which includes studio-based discussion with cricket experts). I also have delivered digital content strategy for international clients like Borussia Dortmund FC. For the last one year, I have been working for an international creative marketing agency based out of LA. I've also been consulting for the world's leading video-sharing platform based out of CA for over a year now, where I provide editorial feedback on digital trends & pop-culture expertise.
Academic background
Undegrad- Mechanical Engineering (7.8 CGPA) from a premier Engineering College.
Post-Graduate Diploma in New Media Journalism from India's top J-school.
I have been preparing for the GMAT for about 2 months now and I've taken the mocks. I'm taking the test in the last week of Dec. I'm expecting a score of 650.
What's a good score for my profile for the univs I'm targeting? In case I don't get a 650 and end up getting 620 in the actual test should I go ahead and apply since my background is diverse/non-tradition compared to most of the profiles from India.
