Education :
Undergrad: Sri Venkateshwara University(Bachelors of Commerce, Second Rank in college). 4.0 GPA
Post Graduate: 1 year Executive MBA from IIM Lucknow(its called correspondence learning), didn't complete all the exams, so got participation certificate for >80% attendance. (I didn't benefit significantly from this if the question arises why second MBA now).
Undergrad Stats:
Major: Finance, Statistics, Accounting
GPA: 4.0.
Major GPA: 4.0
GMAT: 760 (50Q/44V/5 IR, AWA-4)
Data Science Certification - From an Institute in Bangalore on R, Python, Alteryx and Tableau.
Work Experience:
13+ years of experience.
Accenture(1 year): Started as an Accountant, working in Accounts payable and General ledger reconciliation.
Symphony Services(1.6 years): I moved to this company as there was an opportunity to work as a financial analyst and worked here.
IBM(4 years):• Implemented SAP Billing system (COSY) across EMEA & North America, resulting in the elimination of manual errors
from MS-Excel billing, savings of >100K each year from 2009 to 2013.
• Scaled up SAP billing team from 0 to 15 members by 2013, transitioned activities from Germany(travelled 2 months each year) in
2009,2010. Manager for 1 Direct Reports in 2009 to 15 Direct reports by 2013.
• Got promoted to Assistant Manager within 1.5 years in IBM.
DXC Technology(2 years):
•End to End ownership of Annual Operating Plan, Forecasting, Month-end closer of Cyber, Big Data and Data Center, line of business

• Spearhead and Planned migration of 6 FPNA roles in 2020, grew them to 10 positions by May 2021, by standardizing deliverables achieved
productivity of 600 hrs. Annually, increased report counts by +100 vs 2020.
•End to End ownership of AOP, Forecasting & Month-end Reporting of AMESA Franchise Business.
To add to this, I am a first-generation college student that coming from a small village and a very low-income family. I had to support my family, this is the major reason why I didn't pursue my MBA career goal until now.
My GPA trajectory is very strong in Bachelors 3.5+ with some 4.0s, in colleges top list.
Personal Break: 01-2019 to 06-2020.
I started a restaurant with my brother as a partner in my hometown(100k Population), scaled it up to avg $3000 per month revenue by Feb-2020, before all came crashing down due to Covid, had to shut down Nov-2020.
Post MBA Goals:
Financial Planning and Analysis Management with a global presence. Top FMCG to TOP companies like (Apple, AMAZON, Tesla, Google)
I am looking for a 1 year STEM-designated MBA or 1.6 years STEM-designated MBA
MBA Targets: Instead, LSE, IMD, HEC Paris, Said, NYD stern(1-year Tech MBA), Cornell, Kellog
Stretches: MIT Sloan Fellows 1 year MBA,
Fall back: Emory, Mccombs,
WHY MBA now: I can be a 36 or 37-year-old Naren without an MBA from a top college, or get one from these TOP colleges and move on achieving long term career goals of managing(becoming Director or Senior Director) of a Region or Business unit in FPNA for a company I work for.
community leadership:
My experience in organising the Community cricket league from 2013 till now, could help in contributing to any college community too, as I can share and implement the learnings from here. I have conducted the cricket league since 2013 involving 12 cricket teams from neighbouring villages, who could win $5 thousand dollars prize money. The purpose of this league is to make all the youngsters who have settled in big cities and studying in colleges 1) come home for festival season 2) join the community and play the sport for fun, and for the elders to these towns to attend and enjoy the game of cricket for 3 days during one the festival seasons(Sankranti in Andhra Pradesh).
