Hi Alex,
Would you be able to give me some feedback on my profile?
Planning on applying to Stanford, Harvard and EmLyon in France. Not so worried about EmLyon ..not so sure about Stanford and Harvard.
Edu Background: Medical Doc from India with valid license. 2 Masters degrees in Biomed and Cardiac sciences from the US.
Work: Based in US but scope reaches into Europe which is HQ. 5 years in Medical device industry as clinical research manager then clinical marketing manager. 1 yr in hospital research sector as a medical scientist.
Community: Run my own non-profit with projects in India,South Am and US.
GMAT : is very marginal...planning on taking it again but dont think I can really get it into late 600 or 700 range. Verbal very high ...Quant is uhh !
Planning on going in for Strategic Marketing and/or organizational management and taking electives in public policy management.
How much do you think the GMAT matters with my profile?

Your GMAT is crucial unfortunately. If your GMAT is out of range (below the bare minimum of 680; and under 700 will be a concern), then your chances at HBS and Stanford are slim. Also, the fact that you are a doctor with two additional masters degrees in life sciences will be a concern for adcoms no matter how you spin it.
In any case, just focus on the GMAT for now. Do the best you can, and then go from there.
