-2.5 years (3.5 by matriculation) at a boutique strategy consulting firm with a unique focus - not very quantitatively driven, but a lot of exposure to senior executive teams. One project with a large non-profit
-Significant firm leadership responsibility
-Letters of recommendation from two partners that i think will do a very good job
Extracurriculars:
-Definitely a weak point. I haven't been able to do much since graduation due to travel/work commitments.
Goals:
-Strategy concentration, coursework in social entrepreneurship
-Transition to a larger more analytically driven strategy consulting with a broader alumni network (preferable Mckinsey/BCG/Bain/Monitor/Booz/Deloitte) for 5-7 years
-Eventually transition full-time into non-profit consulting

I know that I about the 18 billionth consultant applying this year. Am i deluding myself to think that i can stick out from the crowd at these competitive schools? Should i apply to a safety school?
