Hi
I just finished my gmat and got 680 with a 44Q and 40V breakdown. I'm a little upset with the score and think I can probably do better the next time round.
Just wondering whether it's absolutely necessary for the range of schools I'm targeting.
GPA: Ard 3.6 from Australian Uni
Age: 30
Nationality: Singaporean
Major: Finance and Economics
Work Experience: 4 years
I've been working as a stockbroker and I should be able to get good recommendations.
I'm thinking of applying to
1) Oxford Said
2) Cornell
3) Yale
4) Michigan Ross
5) Cambridge Judge
Am I competitive for this range of schools currently? If not, would getting over 700 be a significant boost for my chances?
Some stretch schools I'm also considering are
1) Columbia
2) LBS
3) NYU
4) Insead
I've heard some conflicting opinions regarding my chances even with a gmat score above 700. Should I even apply for these 4 schools?
