Dear Paul,

I would like some guidance on my current profile and how about to go admission to a U.S masters program in Management of Technology. My details are as follows:

Male, 27
Nationality: Pakistan
Occupation/designation :SAP Consultant ( ABAP/Business Intelligence/Project Manager)
Work Experience- 5.7 years:
From Aug 2006 to Oct 2010- Siemens Pakistan- Experience in major project implementations (4-5 project life-cycles). Served as a team leader for the technical side on three projects. In 2010 was the Lead consultant for a Business intelligence implementation.
Nov 2010 to current with IBM Saudi on projects at Saudi Aramco.- Currently serving as a Project Manager and a SAP consultant.
Had a 5 months internship with Siemens in 2005 and a 2 months one with Siemens in 2004

Received certificates of appreciation for successful SAP implementations from clients during this time( Colgate Palmolive, A major Pharma company). I was rated as a top tier consultant during my time in Pakistan and have also received appreciation from Saudi Aramco. I am also SAP certified in SAP ABAP, SAP BI and being enrolled for SAP SD(sales and distribution)

Degrees: from SZABIST ( top 4th uni in Pakistan
Bachelors of Science -software engineering - 3.26/4 CGPA (2002-2006)
Received scholarship for 1 semester- was listed on the honors list

MBA- Management 3.26/4.0 CPGA (2008-2010)

I am also the founder of a collaborative community group which does open source projects for hobbyists - collaborations between artists/engineers for mutual collaboration. We organize events, meetings for project discussions and displays. This group has been featured in the newspapers and is currently an official partner with the Japanese Embassy in Pakistan for cultural activities.
I also run a successful alumni blog for top tier medical students giving their USMLE' in collaboration with alumni in America. I have also given a number of seminars on SAP to university students

GMAT score - Test date: July 2007
Quantitative- 35- 44%
Total 590 -65%
Analytical writing- 5.0- 61%

TOEFL -(expired now- 2007)

I was initially interested in MIT's System design and management program but the gmat scores are too low. I am interested in a 1 year US masters program related to management of technology, or management of information systems. A program which presents the MBA topics+MS.

A program of interest is Carnegie Mellon's MSIM program
UC Irvine: MS ( INF-SW)

Could you recommend other ones?

The goal is to attain a higher level of understanding/grooming/opportunity access and generally to stand out from the rest of the huge crowd. An experience of the highest level would warrant a stay out of the workforce-

In the worst case could apply for state universities.
I was thinking of giving the GMAT again or should I attempt the applications at this stage? I have my IELTS exam on 25th June.
Please advise. I would be interested in your services as well if it can be handled
