I would like to earn my MBA to help propel my career into upper management within my banking institution. The MBA, I'm hoping, will provide me with the necessary tools and skill-set with which to draw upon to successfully vault my career to oneday become CEO of a financial institution.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sports involvement - and especially at the professional level - demonstrates excellent team ability and work ethic, so yes, by all means mention it. In addition to EMBA programs, I recommend you consider the full-time programs for experienced professionals which include: Stanford Sloan Masters, MIT Sloan Fellows, and USC's IBEAR program. My main piece of advice is for you to share interesting examples of the challenges you have helped your bank overcome and even go ahead and link your methods of leading through these challenges to what you learned about teamwork and hard work in sports.
