Age - 34 yrs.
Working as Assistant Vice President in US for one of the big firm. Overall I have close to 12 years of experience. Leading a technical team of 4-5 for last 2 years. Before that I was in several lead positions and worked as Team lead, Project Manager etc.
GMAT 650 (Q49 V30)
GPA: 3.5 Computer Science engineer
Extra Curricular : Actively participated in many College events and Alumni association. Participated in Volunteer services in my Company.
Target Programs : Looking for Executive MBA from Duke, Ross. Also looking for some suggestions. I am not interested in full time 2 year course, though one year Kellogg may be my wish. But with the current GMAT I doubt. Should I retake GMAT?
Post MBA- Interested in Strategic consultancy, and/or progress my carrier to Executive Management.
MY Questions are: What are my best fit Programs and what I can do to maximize, either GMAT wise or application wise.

You really should look into EMBA programs, and Duke has one of the best. Unless you are dead set on going full time there are many advantages you have in doing the EMBA. 1) your GMAT will not matter as much. Since Duke and all other schools do not have to include EMBA applicant stats in their rankings submissions. For this reason, your liklihood of admission is higher with EMBA. 2) you have more than 10 years of progressively responsible experience. The EMBA programs become within reach with this kind of WE. 3) you can keep your Job and in many cases, also get your employer to foot some or all of the bill for B-school.

Thanks Bryant! After weighing all options, EMBA fits best to my current situation. The reason I was looking for 1 year full time was that I had heard/seen getting into Management stream is very difficult with Part-time/ and even EMBA. So, may be I had to do little more digging. After spending good amount, I don't want this to be a wash. What have you to say on this ?
