Thank you kindly for your response!

I took my GMAT today and scored a 710 (1st try). Considering my aforementioned profile, any advice on where to start next? I have my choice of top schools, but I want to be realistic in the schools I apply to- even though Harvard would be a dream come true.

Thank you for your invaluable input!

I encourage you to try for HBS; I just can't promise that you'll get in. :-)

If you know where you want to apply, then the next step in my book is to nail your resume and line up recommenders while waiting for this year's apps to come out. Harvard's should be out by the end of May.

I actually just gave a webinar on what you should be doing now to prepare for your R1 2014 application. The recording is at https://www.accepted.com/mba/applicantwebinar.aspx . The short infographic containing some of the info in the webinar is at https://blog.accepted.com/2013/01/08/rou ... graphic-2/ .

Best,
Linda
