I will be applying for fall 2010 admission, my first choice is Yale SOM. Columbia & NYU would be my 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Age: currently 23, should be around 25~ at time of application
Gender/race: Male, south east asian - Singapore/Malaysia
Work Experience: at time of application in fall 2009, it will be 2.5 years in i-banking as an analyst in leveraged finance for a top bulge bracket (think MS, JPM, Lehman). Prior internships in project management & government development where I have traveled a lot.
Education: 3.4 GPA from a CUNY. Finance major.
Extracurriculars: Stargazing, Astrophysics, active member of numerous animal rights organizations, mentor to students graduating from my college, regular volunteer at north shore animal league.
GMAT: 710
Also, could someone clarify how early decision for Yale SOM would work? I have read that they got rid of it altogether but I can't seem to find a clear answer. Thanks in advance.

You seem to be on track for admission at Yale. CBS and NYU may also be doable if you can rack up some good impact and leadership stories over the next year and a half. One potential weakness I see is the extracurricular, which though distinctive seems to lack leadership. If you can find some leadership roles outside of work I recommend doing so.
Regarding the status of Yale's ED program, I recommend emailing them directly on that.
