ECs:
Pretty average. Quite a bit in college. Was captain of the college Hockey team, Mountaineering club(Am an avid trekker and have trekked a couple of glaciers).
Not much since. Have been involved in my company's corporate social responsibility initiative.

Goal After MBA - Management Consulting

Considering that I am from the extra competetive pool of Indians, with a typical Indian IT male profile with a high GMAT, which colleges would be the streches, reaches and sweet pots for me. Also, would my GPA and AWA be a hinderance.

Here are the ones I am considering right now. Please add others that I should consider

1) Chicago
2) Tuck
3) Duke
4) Ross
5) Texas

Please help. Thanks so much!

Kavsin,

Your GMAT score removes your GPA as an issue. Your AWA is fine. Your leadership at work is good, but weak extracurriculars is a negative:

1) Chicago -- Long shot
2) Tuck -- Long shot
3) Duke -- Reach
4) Ross -- Reach
5) Texas -- Reach

The following schools place a relatively high percentage of MBAs in consulting, and I think you would have a good chance at all of them:

--CMU
--Emory
--Georgetown
--Babson
--Maryland

Good luck,
