Appreciate your efforts on this forum and kindly ask for a reality check.
26yrs old, white male.
GMAT: 1st 660 (44Q,38V); 2nd take 690 (46Q,38V)
GPA: 3.5 from Cornell University
Work Experience: 3+ years at boutique outsource human resources firm. First 2 years was as Human Resources Associate which was similar to an account manager role. Received a promotion to my current role as the Retirement Plan specialist where I administer a 401(k) multiple employer plan with over $140 million in assets (duties include plan design, compliance testing, coordinate plan mergers/spin-offs).
Extra Curriculars: Nothing too special here. I just started recently at a mentoring program as a mentor and am an alumni ambassador.
I would like to move into a consulting career, preferable strategic management. My list right now looks like:
NYU-Part time (applied)
Yale (plan to apply in round 1)
Cornell (plan to apply in round 1)
Columbia
Georgetown
Virginia
Are these schools realistic? Are there any programs that I should consider?
