Extra curricular
1) Founder President of an NGO working in India on Anti corruption, improvement of Education for govt school students (Govt owned schools in India are not as great as in US). I was working with multiple NGOs and leading multiple CSR teams , but I thought that I have the ability to do more than just funding a NGO, teaching students or organizing an event. I always dreamed of making the basic amenities and equitable benefits accessible to the common man which is a close to impossible in the corrupted political and bureaucratic government, ignorant and negligent attitude of the poverty or below poverty class. This lead me to found Hope India Foundation to make my dream possible primarily using RTI and anti-corruption. Initially I had great challenges to inspire people to follow my vision since anti-corruption or educating a common man to stand for his rights is a long term activity and people involved need long persistence and continuos motivation till they see the harvest on what they sow. After my encounter with Mr. B. Nirmal ( Founder of Exnora international) and Parivartan ( a leading organization working on RTI awareness and Anti-corruption) , I could clearly justify my goals, strategize a road map for my organization, formulate actionable plans which convinced people to join my organization. After this kick start, our team stays strong and increasing creating meaningful change in the society. We also acknowledged that we would need quick wins to motivate the team and formulated our activities accordingly.
2) Have provided consulting services to many organizations in achieving their corporate social responsibility goals. Formed two Corporate Social responsibility clubs for my employer from scratch which includes defining mission and goals, team ramp up, activities road map, defining performance indicators and expansion strategy, budget and funding and connected the clubs to various deserving NGOs
3) President of Students association in my college. Prior to taking up this role worked with the Student association for two years as organization secretary. Prior to my office, the students organization had no regular activities, participation limited to only final year students ( less avenues for junior to participate or contribute) , only focused on a yearly college event. As a President, I was responsible to bring about a transformation which includes creating a platform for all the students to exhibit both their technical and creative skills, building a participatory environment open, distributing the roles /office of the organization to all year students, formulating key regular activities for the club, founding a student self help group to help students both in their education, funding for poor students and address key students by student themselves, creating a selection process for the organization’s office bearer positions including President and Vice President position. As an outcome, we as a team was able to organize a 7 day yearly event ( usually 2 day technical symposium only) invited participation from about 200 colleges and more than 1000 students. For the first time in the history of our university , we had participation from scientist , a huge press attention and also arranged for a video conferencing with the President of India.

My prime mission out of this start up is to bridge the Corporate and deserving NGOs and there by meeting both of their needs. My rich experience with various NGOs and network with various corporate CSR teams would definitely give me a better start.
