Hi Alex,
could you please evaluate my profile.
My target schools are MIT, Kellgogs, Wharton all round 2.
GMAT 710 49(Q) 38(V) 6/6(AWA)
Undergrad
academics : We dont have CGPA system in our college so my weighted percentage is 69.12% which is first division.
extra - curricular - president, secretary , team lead of multiple clubs and societies in college.
Work experience - IT consultant working in US for Top IT company based out of India. Have 4+ years of work ex. In 2008, co-founded an IT company in India that provides low cost software solutions to small businesses in India. It has been fairly successful. I still continue to work for the TOP IT company in US as dont have enuf funds to draw out my own salary.
My concern is that I did not have top grades in my undergrad and infact had almost passing percentage in Maths.

Your chances are slim to none at those schools.
You really should be targeting schools outside the top 16. Schools like Georgetown, UNC, USC, Purdue, Indiana, Texas, Carnegie Mellon, etc. are more in your range as sweet spots. Maybe Yale, Cornell or NYU as your stretch schools.

Is it due to a low GMAT scrore? or low GPA?
